Afghan girl locked in toilet for 5 months

0 comments | Read more...

"Our leaders tell you we are helping womens rights in Afghanistan; the
truth is that for the most part we simply look the other way and justify
this by saying, "we have to respect their culture." Out of all the
billions of dollars going into this nation there is no justice being
demanded and fought for when it comes to the liberty of women in
Afghanistan."

Consul Nicholas Moore

"The case highlights how women continue to suffer in Afghanistan despite
the billions of dollars of international aid which has poured into the
country during the decade-long war."

The Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission logged 1,026 cases of
violence against women in the second quarter of 2011 compared with 2,700
cases for the whole of 2010.

And according to figures in an Oxfam report in October, 87 percent of
Afghan women report having experienced physical, sexual or psychological
violence or forced marriage.

U.S. Tries to Play Nice with Taliban by Not Calling Its Leader a Top Terrorist

0 comments | Read more...

..Wow, how far we've come from October 2001. Back then the U.S. was
bombing the Taliban out of power for supporting terrorism, while today
we've pulled its top leader from our terrorist list. The FBI today has
taken Mullah Muhammad Omar, head of the Taliban in Afghanistan, off of
its 'Most Wanted Terrorists" list, reports The Express Tribune. It's
unclear whether the U.S. no longer thinks Omar is a terrorist or if he's
just not wanted anymore. In any case, the Obama administration is trying
ploy after ploy to get the Taliban to negotiate a peace in Afghanistan
and put that war to bed like the one in Iraq. Already thrown on the
table: The 20 something Gitmo prisoners part of the Taliban and control
of southern Afghanistan, according to The Tribune. But so far the
Taliban doesn't want much to do with us after, you know, declaring war
on them a decade ago and all.

The Wealthy Congress Have Lost Touch With The People

0 comments | Read more...

"There is the problem, and the evidence is there; You have to be rich to run for congress. There are many who understand what the nation needs; those who can relate with the people and "truly" be their voice, but these people will never have a chance because they cannot afford to run for congress... The rich are this way because many of them have always looked out for themselves first and foremost, with full focus on their personal success. To be a politician to them is just another notch on their belt to raise their reputation and their status. They don't put the people first; their nation first, because if they did then they would be able to actually do something for the people. In recent years it has been proven again and again that they don't have our best interest in mind. I repeat need new leaders who truly represent the people and can relate with them... There are some who would serve with only the bare minimum (if need be) to support their families, while focusing the rest of their acquired wealth on fixing the nation."

Consul Nicholas Moore

"The average successful House race costs $1.4 million to stage (the
average Senate campaign is almost $10 million), and candidates are
allowed - and often need - to donate as much as they want to their own
effort. The costs of advertising and travel make it increasingly
difficult for anyone who doesn't already have money to get their name
out there. There have also been concerns raised recently about the
ability of politicians to profit from their position, both through
contacts made and the ability to trade stock based on privileged
information."

"Even putting aside the questions of influence and corruption, the
biggest concern is that those who elected to Congress are more out of
touch with the world of their constituents than ever before. How can
they be expected to look out for the interest of citizens when the
biggest issues facing them - unemployment, health care, wages - are
unknown to most of those who are supposed to be looking out for them? Or
worse when addressing those issues directly contradicts their own
interest, as when millionaires are asked to vote on a "millionaire's
tax"? The biggest political movement of the last year, Occupy Wall
Street, has been devoted almost exclusively to addressing the gap
between rich and poor, but it's hard to see how any change becomes
possible when that gap is greatest among those in a position to do
something about it..."

"Homeless Children In America"

0 comments | Read more...

"What difference did our President truly make in America for the
minorities, and for our nation as a whole? He talks a good talk, that is
all."

"Even in Afghanistan we are not helping the women and children despite
what the news may say. Just look at the sense of justice we allow when
an Afghan woman who was placed in prison for years because she was raped
is forced to marry the relative who raped her to gain freedom. And our
leaders just say, "okay." Meanwhile in our own nation our women and
children need help, and our leaders are not providing it!"

Consul Nicholas Moore

"How dare you!" the girl said abruptly as she nudged a toy car across a
conference room table at the Chapman Partnership shelter in Miami's
tough and predominantly black Overtown neighborhood."

"There was no telling what Aeisha was thinking as her 32-year-old
mother, Nairkahe Touray, spoke of how she burned through her savings and
wound up living in a car with five of her eight children earlier this
year."

"But how dare you indeed? How does anyone explain to kids like Aeisha
and countless others how they wound up homeless in the world's richest
nation?"

"These are kids who don't have any opportunities," she said. "If you
look at some of the educational variables, they're doing really poorly.
And they're kids who can do OK. They just don't have appropriate
support.

First True Alien World, Perhaps First Sign Of Intelligent Life In The Universe

0 comments | Read more...

"It amazes me how humanity can be so smart yet so stupid at the same
time. This reminds me of Leo Szilard the inventor of the atom bomb which
preceded the nuclear weapons we have today. He believed if his knowledge
was shared with America there would be world peace because no one would
want to commit genocide when the "good guys" have a weapon that could
wipe out a nation... Szilard was a genius, so think about that...
Humanity will be defined by the other alien races as "being addicted to
self destruction and being insanely in denial of this obvious truth." In
fact I wonder if humanity was made with the sole purpose of destroying
this once paradise like world and then once the mission was put into
motion you were programmed to destroy yourselves as well... Perhaps
someone is laughing at the absurdity of mankind; we should be in awe
over how blind humanity can be as a whole. To quote Tommy Lee Jones from
Men In Black, "A person can be smart, but people are stupid!"

Humanity Can Be So Blind

More than 100 emergency workers searched for Aliahna around the mobile
home park Saturday, though no active search was done Sunday. Tinkel said
the same size search could not be sustained because of the Christmas
holiday." (God forbid people miss Christmas to continue looking for a
little girl lost in a mobile home park full of sex offenders...)

"FBI agents earlier Monday descended on the rundown mobile home park in
Fort Wayne where Aliahna lived and was last seen. It's a "known haven
for registered sex offenders"... (Nice place to bring up a little girl,
huh? Fucking idiots!!)... though Plumadore is not on Indiana's
registered sex offenders list. He has a criminal record in Florida and
North Carolina that includes convictions for trespassing and assault."
(Nice family friend to have.)

According to a state website, 15 registered sex offenders live in the
park that numbers about two dozen homes, and Watkins said that makes
people cautious and reserved. (And stupid to be living there with
children in the first place.)

"I'm numb, I'm totally numb," she said when told about the girl's death.
"I don't know what to think." (I know what to think; you're an
incompetent idiot!!)

Humanity:

A species "addicted to self-destruction" and being insanely in denial of
this obvious truth; defines their selves by how they wish they could be
while being blind over how selfish they actually are; The most
delusional species known in the universe and most amazingly
counterproductive; by all appearances their sole purpose is to
eventually destroy everything and take most everything for granted while
justifying their means with an absurd sense of logic; ironically they
believe they are the center of the universe and are some kind of
crowning achievement. They say ironic things like, "I believe everybody
is inherently good", while most of them don't even know what inherent
means. They are the only creatures who will create something to make
their lives more difficult and hasten their demise; (money, atom bomb,
nuclear weapons, unnatural drugs, etc). Even as their world collapses
they continue trying to keep themselves distracted while choosing to be
blind to the obvious.

Colbert Exposing More Greed and Hypocrisy

Southern gentlemen, they graciously offered to still want it. They would

They said no. I offered less money, $200,000, since I was getting only
half of our original agreement. They said no."

"America Now Negotiates With Terrorists"

0 comments | Read more...

In Americas other major wars where "negotiated settlements" were made;
these were not wars against outright terrorists... It's sad that we've
reached a point where our political leaders "negotiate with terrorists."

How we handled this war was not right, for we did not prepare properly
and we did not even bother to understand the enemies mindset, or their
ideology before we went into Afghanistan. And how we end this war,
through negotiations with the Taliban, will only cause more problems for
our future... The political leaders are thinking of making things look
"good" for the present, without considering the mess left for the future
leaders to deal with, and our children to deal with.

ultimately end in a negotiated settlement."

Excellent chance' Israel attacks Iran and US drawn in this year

I think most Americans really want to believe this is behind us and past

happening in Iraq, but Iran - I think there is an excellent chance that
this year, this election year, Israel is going to attack Iran and the
United States is going to be drawn back into a really scary, violent
situation..." Evan Thomas said.

"Let's hope - Evan is rarely wrong - [that Evan] is wrong. But if in

to do as a people, as a nation, a military, to achieve those ends, and
when it will be over and how we will get out," Shields said. "And that

..Independent Senator Joseph Lieberman chairs the Senate Homeland
Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Elected to the Senate in
1988, he ran as an independent in 2006 after losing Connecticut's
Democratic primary.

Why is public approval of Congress so low? In Sen. Joe Lieberman's
opinion, it's because Congress has never been so dysfunctional.

"Because I don't think Congress has ever been as bad as it is today.
Here is a time of very serious, painful economic hardship ... and a debt
that is threatening our future, national debt, and "WE REALLY HAVEN'T
DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT."

Whether members of Congress are using non-public information for
personal financial gain:

"I don't have any evidence that there is insider trading by members of
Congress.... A lot of people around the country ... think there is....
It is very important that Congress make clear with legislative action
that members of Congress ... are covered by insider-trading laws."

President Obama's response to Iran's capture of an American spy drone:

"I wish that we had found a way to at least go in and destroy it.... It
would have been very difficult to rescue it.... I say that with humility
because I wasn't in the [White House] Situation Room...."

US policy toward Iran:

"I don't think we have done enough to support regime change. It needs to
be done artfully because it is not one of those cases where we want to
go in and start endorsing opposition" candidates.

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich saying the Palestinians are an "invented"
people:

"To me, the important fact is, the Palestinians are a people today and
any resolution of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians has
to be between two peoples, two nations."

"The fight over the payroll tax cut accomplished almost nothing in terms
of real world policy changes, but has provided the president with a huge
political victory heading into 2012. Not only did Speaker of the House
John Boehner take a stand on an issue that almost no one was against
(lower taxes), he lost the fight in a manner suggesting he can't control
his own party members..."

"...Who Boehner should have been standing up to was his own party
members, particularly the freshman Tea Partiers who complained the
loudest about the Senate deal. He's smart to enough to know the issue
was a loser politically, but he gave into the anger of his party members
whose main objection - a two-month extension vs. a one-year - was a
rather trivial matter that in the long run would make no difference."

gaining by forcing his hand...." They weren't thinking; not about the

"Time To Exercise Our Rights!"

0 comments | Read more...

"The right of revolution (or right of rebellion) is the right or duty,
variously stated throughout history, of the people of a nation to
overthrow a government that acts against their common interests."

George Washington

"We simply want the people going back to the foundation our nation was
built upon, and to follow the vision our founding fathers' originally
left for us. To solve any severe problem we must start at the
foundation. Our politicians keep going for ways of easing the symptoms
for a short time, to shut the people up for a short time. They know the
problem is still growing though and needs to be resolved. We do not wish
for our Constitution to be eliminated, contrarily we want to save it;
and save our nation. We need a new Government one truly "for the people
and by the people," a Government that follows the Constitutional
Amendments; a true Republic like our founding fathers' wanted. Is this
too much to ask for? Is this how we define rebellion? ... Well then so
be it!"

Consul Nicholas Moore

"The way I see it is that the Republicans want Obama to be a one-term
president," said James Edwards, an Amtrak conductor from Hamden, Conn.,
who was in Boston on Wednesday. "They are taking their patriotism and
throwing it away, and they are hurting the middle class. They want to
make sure that America is hurting while this president is sitting so
they won't vote for him in 2012."

Anaiah Spencer, a property manager from Los Angeles, said the deadlock
is damaging people's faith in lawmakers.

Alliances With Other Nations No Longer A Gray Area

0 comments | Read more...

People have heard the expression "being in the gray area". Do we know
what this means anymore when it comes to our alliances with other
nations?

George Washington would turn over in his grave if he were to see the
nations we call allies these days. He warned against having a long term
alliance and funding outside nations, and he warned about the potential
corruption in our nation caused by such alliances. Today we send more
money to those who should be considered enemies then we do those who
treat us like an ally should.

Afghanistan wants more money from us when it comes to helping them
rebuild their nation, and our Commander and Chief wants to provide these
funds... What is the point? When President Karzai and the government
with him thinks setting a woman free from ten years of prison, where she
was placed for being a victim of rape, just so that they could force her
to marry the relative who raped her; where is the justice in this? What
is the point to sending billions of dollars worth of support for
Afghanistan when we can't do more to help the poor women and children in
their nation. We look past this nation's corruption and act as if we
believe our weapons and money can fix their nation... Are our leaders'
complete fools? If we allow this twisted sense of justice in their
nation; this corruption, then there is no amount of money that can help
them. We need to cease the funding towards such corrupt nations, for
this is not being in the gray area, this is being in the shadow; for we
are inhibiting their progress by allowing their injustice, and then
paying them while doing this. We should use this money to help our own
nation instead, where we have more of a hope in taking care of our women
and children.

Allowing freedom of religion in our nation is a grand gift bestowed to
us. But when we fail to recognize the difference between a dangerous
ideology and a religion we hurt our people and our nation. Just like we
wouldn't allow a Christian cult where children are married to adults, or
allow Pastors' to have several wives who are under age, neither should
we allow an Islamic ideology that teaches true Islam is one where one
condones the killing of an Infidel; any non-believer. Yet as crazy as it
may sound one of the fasted spreading ideologies of Islam in our nation
is one inspired by the book titled "Milestones". This book was the
number one inspiration for the leaders of the Taliban, Al Qaida, and the
Haqani Network... And we have the audacity to wonder where our recent
homegrown terrorists came from.

When did we start believing that providing support or freedom to those
who wish the American people harm is being in the gray area? This is
wrong, period. How is this misunderstood?

Being tolerable of one's rights, does not mean we should ignore the
obvious threats. In Afghanistan they will arrest a woman for being
raped, and she may even be killed before this can happen. Supporting a
government who allows this, and calls this justice is just as bad as
allowing the same injustice in our own nation.

Doing the right thing is usually not easy, and people may suffer, but
this doesn't mean we have a right to look the other way when the wrong
thing is happening... This makes us cowards and no better than the
perpetrators of the crime we choose to ignore. Contrarily after the
crime has taken place right in front of us our leaders shake the
perpetrators hand and then give them money and support.

We are no longer justified when it comes to our alliances with those who
contradict and despise our nation's liberty. We are no longer in a gray
area, but instead we've become an accomplice to their injustices.

With Friends like Pakistan Who Needs Enemies

0 comments | Read more...

We are there "friends' because of the money involved and the fact they
have nuclear weapons which can possibly be used by the Taliban if the
corrupt Pakistan Government is influenced by their neighbors... If we
had heeded the warnings from our forefathers we would have never gotten
ourselves into this mess.

Protesters at Sunday's rally shouted, "A friend of the USA and India is
a traitor."

ISLAMABAD (AP) - More than 30,000 Islamists rallied against the U.S. in
the Pakistani city of Lahore on Sunday, demanding Islamabad cut off ties
with Washington following NATO airstrikes last month that killed 24
Pakistani soldiers.

The protest highlighted the ability of hard-liners to bring their
supporters into the streets, as well as the lasting anger over the Nov.
26 attack, which has complicated U.S. efforts to enlist Pakistan's
cooperation on the Afghan war...

(Please read the article on this blog titled "Alliances With Other
Nations No Longer A Gray Area.")

George Washington urged the American people to preserve the national
credit by avoiding war, avoiding unnecessary borrowing, and paying off
any national debt accumulated in times of war as quickly as possible in
times of peace so that future generations do not have to take on the
financial burdens that others have taken on themselves. Despite his
warnings to avoid taking on debt, Washington does state his belief that
sometimes it is necessary to spend money to prevent dangers or wars that
will in the end cost more if not properly prepared for.

George Washington warned the American people to avoid long-term friendly
relations or rivalries with any nation...

He argues these attachments and animosity toward nations will only cloud
the government's judgment in its foreign policy. Washington argues that
longstanding poor relations will only lead to unnecessary wars due to a
tendency to blow minor offenses out of proportion when committed by
nations viewed as enemies of the United States. He continues this
argument by claiming that alliances are likely to draw the United States
into wars which have no justification and no benefit to the country
beyond simply defending the favored nation.

Washington continues his warning on alliances by claiming that they
often lead to poor relations with nations who feel that they are not
being treated as well as America's allies, and threaten to influence the
American government into making decisions based upon the will of their
allies instead of the will of the American people.

"Washington argues that the American Government needs to ensure that
"the diffusion of knowledge" throughout the United States is a primary
goal, since the government has been created to enforce the opinion of
the people and as a result the opinion of the people should be informed
and knowledgeable." This is why these posts are being shared by those of
us at Moore Enterprises.

"Shut Down The Federal Reserve!!"

. . . the heart of our economic problems is the Federal Reserve. The
Federal Reserve is a perpetual debt machine, it has almost completely
destroyed the value of the U.S. dollar and it has an absolutely
nightmarish track record of incompetence. If the Federal Reserve system
had never been created, the U.S. economy would be in far better shape.
The federal government needs to shut down the Federal Reserve and start
issuing currency that is not debt-based

Why Our Leaders' Fail Us and Rome Is Falling

0 comments | Read more...

George Washington's view on Foreign Policy:
"Steering clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign
world" and advocating trade with all nations." He strictly warns against
"permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world." You think
our finding Father was onto something? Go ahead and give him a thumbs down if you "know better".

When asked if the WikiLeaks of 2010 would damage American relations with other countries, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates noted that "governments deal with the United States because it's in their interest, not because they like us, not because they trust us, and not because they believe we can keep secrets."

"I have known doctors, lawyers, Generals', police detectives,
politicians, and others with the most esteemed jobs'; those who are
required to be responsible for other peoples' lives. What many of them
have in common is they didn't become what they are because they
truly care about people but because they wanted to prove something to
themselves and gain a sense of self accomplishment. You'd be afraid how
many of them only think about themselves, and since they are at the top
they make incompetent decisions. They have a very simplistic mindset much of the time. They're   counterproductive. They fail to recognize that once they've gained the position they so sought
after they shouldn't be allowed to fail in such an extreme and selfish way. They should be held accountable. Many of them are failures regardless of their PHDs' or their rank! Upon reaching their esteemed position if they fail humanity once they get there then they have failed entirely and they're too blind to see this. We're in the mess we're in not because of some grand conspiracy but simply
because of people having the wrong mindset and being self centered and incompetent, just like many senators and emperors' in Rome had been at
times. Everyone kisses these "esteemed" peoples' asses and these people
have few if any valuable advisors to help them make wise decisions.
Their advisors just tell them what they want to hear instead of what
they need to hear... As long as "they"; the so called elite and their
family is well off, they don't really care too much about everyone else;
so they should not even be in the job they have taken on. The people we
think know better, they don't. The people suffer because of this...

There are so many pretenders and not enough courageous leaders. "

Every day they met together and taught each other, growing in wisdom, and love. No one was intimidated by the other, but instead each recognized what their brothers' and sisters' had to offer for the tribe. They encouraged each other, and their children grew up much the same; stable in all key areas and seeing no sense in discrimination. They broke bread and ate together in their homes, which they all helped manage when there was need. There was peace of mind, for no one lived in excess and all were provided for. Their foundation was strong; their new beginning and their future was bright and new. Because of their generosity, their prosperity multiplied... Their numbers grew daily; those who were saved from the past generations greed..."
