IV: Why the Truth is Denied
When
the truth is denied this can be because of a misunderstanding, and often,
people just prefer the lies. Considering
Christianity is true, the seeker will eventually need to turn to the teachings
of Christ when pursuing spiritual truths and gaining a deeper understanding of
the human condition. One can trust the New Testament is not based on legends
for the early accounts from Paul, Barnabas, and
Ignatius, to name just a few key witnesses, proves the early Church was aware an
authoritative new cannon was forming to complete the Scriptures.[1] Hence, a most valuable apologetic to triumph
over the mendacity of those opposed to the truth is the testimony of those who
trust in the Scriptures (Rev. 12:11). Whenever remembering
my limitations, I often turn to the words of Jesus Christ. Knowledge obtained
in other fields of study can combine with what God has revealed about Himself
through the Word resulting in a deeper spiritual understanding of important
life truths. Therefore, when considering such experiences, combined with all
the evidence supportive of the Triune mind of God, would be foolish to cease
trusting in the Scriptures because of what I do not understand.
Whether
believing everything is a meaningless accident starting with an impossibly but
luckily fine-tuned universe that randomly appeared, or belief in the Bible, it
is going to take a degree of faith either way. Rational faith will always be
necessary, but it is unreasonable to believe absolute proof is essential before
one can trust in the Bible, hence why blessed are those who have not seen but
still believe (John 20:29).[2] There are key Biblical doctrines seemingly beyond human imagination,
extradimensional concepts like Christ being the Word, Truth, Life, and God
being Love, the multiple members in the Church making up the one Body of
Christ, and of course the Trinity (John 14:6, 1:1, Rom. 12:5, 1 John 4:8, 2
Cor. 13:14 NIV).[3] Discoveries in astrophysics prove valuable
for certain Biblical doctrines are best explained as coming from an
extradimensional reality.[4] When considering the limits of human
imagination, the selfish nature of humanity, and psychic numbing it is highly
unlikely ancient humans would make up the Triune nature of God or the
sacrificial love of Christ. One can clearly observe Christianity is set apart
because Christ provides the most rational answer to the apparent problem of
evil. Those who judge God for allowing so much evil and suffering need to
remember He took direct responsibility for what came of His creation.[5] Disregarding the rational reasons for accepting
Christ offer certain critical scholars believe Christians are like desperate
children with blind faith, and this label should inspire the faithful to
investigate the reasons why the skeptic feels this way.[6]
The
scholar who claims the deified Jesus is based on legend is being dishonest as
the evidence for the earliest witnesses worshiping Christ as the risen Savior
is a historical fact acknowledged by the majority of scholars.[7] The Scriptures were
formed to bring life to those who would appreciate the sweet aroma of the
knowledge of God, however it is no accident that for the boastful and haughty
this is an aroma of death (2 Cor. 2:14-16, 1 John 2:15-17). Christ did not hide
why He spoke in parables, and where many disciples left after hearing a hard
teaching, for those who trusted in Christ the mystery of the kingdom of God was
revealed (John 6, Mark 4:10-12). The reason truth is rejected is because of the inherited sin nature. At
some point in the distant past sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and
this virus resulting in spiritual and physical death eventually spread to the
rest of humanity (Gen. 3, 1 Corinth. 15:21-22, Romans 5:12-21). As argued
earlier history has proven continuously people are easily fooled and a lie can
spread rather quickly even amongst the greatest of minds.
In summary sin hinders people from seeing the
truth, finding the better way, and living a life worth living. The wages of sin
for all who reject the cure is death, but God promises the cure will offer
eternal life (Rom. 6:23). The Bible says the Antichrist spirit denies Jesus
Christ resurrected and promotes what is contrary to the teachings of Christ. The
work of the Antichrist spirit is apparent if the Church proves easily
intimidated or influenced by the lies of the secular culture, lies which lead
some into deserting the faith (1 Tim. 4:1).
The "abomination that causes
desolation" was prophesied by Daniel in the Old Testament, and years later
Christ warned of this being a sign in the last days, (Dan. 9:27, 11:31, 12:11,
Matt. 24:15, Mark 13:14). This abomination is said to enter the "Most
Holy Place," yet since Christ resurrected the Jerusalem temple is no
longer considered spiritually relevant. In the New Testament the temple is
understood to have figurative significance, as Jesus spoke of His body being
the temple and the Church being His body, thus the Church is seen as the temple
accessible to all believers (John 2:19, 21, 1Cor. 6:19, Heb. 6:19, 10:20, Eph.
2:14). Perhaps the institutionalized Church is the actual place foretold to be
corrupted by the abomination of desolation (2 Thess. 2:3-4, 8-9). The Bible
foretells the coming of the "lawless one," who will use lies to mislead
multitudes (2:9-10). What often happens when lies enter the visible church is
those who genuinely love Christ remain unshakable in their faith while those
who refused to ever love the truth are exposed (2:9-10).
The scriptures clearly show because the truth
is not loved God will send a great delusion, to weed out those who will believe
the lie and delight in wickedness (v. 11). What a growing number of young atheists
have in common is having grown up in a church which proved unable to offer
satisfying answers. Whether the school is more secular or Christian upon graduating
college a growing number of students will trade the truth for lies. What
caused the Church to become so anti-intellectual? Why are so many graduating
from seminary lacking a general knowledge in apologetics? Who is having the
largest impact in the Western Church today? The Scriptures verify the spirit of
the Antichrist has been at work in the Church since the Church began, along
with the mystery of iniquity (1 John 4:3). A great
falling away will occur before Christ returns and an apostate brainwashed
church may one day be mistaken by outsiders as representing the true Church (2
Thess. 2:8-12).
The elect will not be fooled, for those who
love the truth love Christ, thus their trust in Christ is as real as two plus
two equals four. However, one day the true Church will be removed from this
world and the temporary peace may result in a world delusional enough to
believe there is no God and Christ was only ever make-believe like the Easter
Bunny. As history has proven if faith in God is removed the key aspects of
freewill becomes an illusion. Without God truth is relative, thus popular
opinion decides which meaningless direction society will go, and those who have
the power to influence the majority will control the narrative. Some flawed
human with money and power will once again come forward and play shepherd for a
fatherless, confused, and bitter generation.
Naturally the most
vulnerable mind is the mind of a child, one in which the pre-frontal cortex is
still developing. If an adult mind can be easily brainwashed, how much more
vulnerable is the mind of a child? The simplest trick used by power-hungry
individuals over the years, from cult leaders to university professors, is
social engineering. There is one political party today whose founders openly
confessed to believing humans are ignorant and in need of controlling. After
the Cold War, the leaders of this party made their plans out in the open, which
is of course the best place to hide in a free nation filled with rattled sheep.
The plan was to infiltrate the schools, the churches, and the social media
outlets, with the end goal of indoctrinating the children. Simple plan was to
change the original name of the party into something more appealing,
indoctrinate the children, and the next generation willingly hands over their
freedom.
The smoking gun has been
in the same place for years, verified by the FBI, published for all to see, and
the 45 goals established by the Communist Party to gain control has just about
been reached.[8] The
agenda is not being hidden and in fact those who proudly stand for the goals
set forth by the communist elite would love for you to recognize how successfully
their party is winning hearts and minds.[9] Only
several of these reached goals directed towards the children need be listed
here below, and the reader can determine whether there is reason for concern.
17. Get control of the
schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist
propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put
the party line in textbooks.
20. Infiltrate the press.
Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, and policy-making
positions.
21. Gain control of key
positions in radio, TV and motion pictures.
23. Control art critics
and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive
meaningless art."
24. Eliminate all laws
governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of
free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality
by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures,
radio and TV.
26. Present
homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, and
healthy."
27. Infiltrate the
churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion.
Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does
not need a "religious crutch."
28. Eliminate prayer or
any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates
the principle of "separation of church and state."
29. Discredit the
American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with
modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a world-wide basis.
32. Support any socialist
movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture -- education,
social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
40. Discredit the family
as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to
raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute
prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of
parents.[10]
The storm must wage now
through the American church, through this country. Christ warned of a great delusion where lovers
of sin who refuse to love the truth will be fooled, yet everyone on the side of
truth will listen to Christ (Matt. 24, 2 Thess. 2:9-12, John 18:37). Do not be
fooled. The
storm will cease, and the calm will come. If the words of Christ remain known
there is hope (Matt. 24:35). No rational mind would prefer a world where the
love and unity Christ prayed for is an impossible dream. When the times
feel hopeless one should reflect on reality and self during the trials. What
keeps the elect secure through the storm is the freeing eternal truth found
only in Christ. There are no unanswered questions too daunting for the one who
worships God with all their mind.
(1)
Evidence shows a supreme intellect
designed the human mind to seek after and discover truth.[11]
(2)
Yeshua Christus claimed to be the Truth;
and by His life, death, and resurrection Christ proved the truth is God is the
Love that ultimately overcomes the evil in this world as proven on the cross
and further verified by the resurrection (John 19:30, 1 Cor. 1:18, Phil.
2:5-10, Gal. 2:20, 1 John 2:2, Col. 2:14, 1 Cor. 2:1-5).[12]
(3)
DNA is not an accident containing any junk
and ET origins for human intelligence is highly improbable, (many experts
confess impossible) because of the many constants necessary for life to emerge
on any planet, hence the miracle of life on Earth.[13]
(4)
Discoveries in astrophysics show forces like
gravity are not bound by the laws of this natural realm, thus the observable
realm is dependent on an extradimensional realm.[14]
(5)
Based on the evidence for a “block
universe” one can argue God’s perfect will and human freewill are not at odds,
and the paradox involving the incarnation and the immutability of God can be
logically resolved.[15]
Furthermore, the Triune
God alone has features clearly extra-dimensional in nature and can be logically
argued for because of discoveries in quantum physics, thus the God of the Bible
is the only One who qualifies.[16]
There is hope if the
Church stands united in worshiping God with all their mind in Spirit and in
Truth. The impressive number of early manuscripts and the significant lack of
discrepancies is what compelled former atheist and sceptic homicide detective
J. Warner Wallace to believe in the incarnation and the resurrection. Strange
how after using similar investigative methods as this cold case detective the
once faithful Ehrman came to such different conclusions, resulting in a loss of
faith. The truth is the evidence proves compelling enough to have convinced
numerous intellectuals the resurrection occurred, thus modern scholars who
claim the evidence is not substantial are either in denial or intentionally
lying.[17] Anyone
can tell a good story or find one, but the truth will always be hidden behind
walls of lies in this world set against you. The
simple truth of the matter is science and Christianity continuously prove to be
compatible, thus the informed Christian has an unfair advantage over the liars
in this world, hence why the distractions of this world are more appealing than
ever.[18]
Christian and
non-believing readers must recognize and never be in denial over how sick,
delusional, and enslaved the human mind can become. At the least one must
accept this much as true, the mind is easily fooled even when the truth is
right out in the open for all to see. The ultimate truth in life must reach
beyond what the materialistic world can offer. Even Pilate seemed confused
about truth and did not seem to accept Jesus had the answer (John 18:38). As Christ
made clear, “In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to
testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me” (John
18:37). In this realm there will always be unanswered questions, but in Christ
one sees how God’s love is self-evident. Trust in the promises of Christ, “Then
you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).
Conclusion
The human mind is designed to seek after truth, recognize the ultimate
truth revealed in Christ, and so that one can rationally communicate this knowledge
with others. The mind is designed to ask questions and find answers, but the
one who denies divine revelation has limited their understanding. Through the
human mind being influenced by the Holy Spirit, God brought forth His divine
revelation resulting in the Scriptures. If one rejects the true purpose of
human consciousness self-idolatry will emerge and dangerous consequences will
follow. Readers must be aware, regardless if cliché, within the mind of every
person is their own worst enemy. When seeking after truth beginning with faith
in Christ readers discover God has revealed Himself in so many fascinating
ways. The world is desperately in need of free minded objective thinkers today.
This text is intended to inspire readers to grow intellectually to better
disciple those with hard questions and to reach others more confidently in
their community for Christ.

Multiple scholarly sources
show genuine discoveries in science only ever provide evidence supportive of
the biblical worldview, thus continuously discoveries in multiple branches of
science add to the credibility of the ultimate Truth, and never serve to
disprove Christianity: Anne L. C. Runehov, The Human being, the World and
