» Science & Religion; The Epic Battle.
Those who call themselves creationists will never earn the respect of the hypocritical mainstream scientists, and vise versa, as long as both sides claim to be certain they're way is the right way. We need more scientists, (not creationists), who will simply state the facts as they are, without embellishing, and then leave the reader to make their own conclusions.
Most people, regardless of being people of science or of faith, they keep humanity from progress because they avoid that which makes them uncomfortable, or that which they fear may crush their doctrine. During the Dark Ages many scientific discoveries were deemed as supernatural, demonic, or magical; being feared by most, avoided by many, and even condemned by those in authoritative positions. The times we're in today are not much different from back then, except the irony in being that many in the scientific community are acting like the authority of the Catholic Church did during the Renaissance.
